Reinforcing the Synergy to Face 2023 Challenges, SG Holds Evaluation and Aspiration-Capture Activity for the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program with Strategic Partners

Rembang, December 21, 2022 - PT Semen Gresik (PTSG) held an evaluation and aspiration-capturing activity for the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) Program with its strategic partners around the Company in Yogyakarta, December 19-20, 2022.

This activity was attended by the Subdistrict Leadership Coordination Forum’s (Forkopimcam) representatives from Gunem, Bulu, and Blora, as well as the representatives of six villages of ring one (Kadiwono, Tegaldowo, Pasucen, Kajar, Timbrangan, and Ngampel Villages) around the Company.

PTSG’s Senior Manager of Communication and CSR, Dharma Sunyata, claimed that this agenda is held annually and included in PTSG’s TJSL program under the Legal and Governance pillars for strategic partners around the Company.

“There were several agendas, from the delivery of TJSL work plans & strategic plans for 2023, joint venture company/PT SMOR performance reports, the evaluation of the TJSL program implementation during 2022, to the aspiration capturing for the development of the Create Share Value (CSV) & Community Development (COMDEV) program,” said Sunyata in his press release (21/12).

Sunyata added that the representatives of each village of ring one around the Company presented their realized plans and their work plans for 2023.

He explained, “it demonstrated the Company’s commitment to supporting social programs for the welfare of society. The Company’s TJSL and CSR programs were carried out comprehensively following the principles and four pillars of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely the Social, Economic, Environmental, as well as Law and Governance Pillars.”

Moreover, in his presentation, the Head of Pasucen Salamun Village explained that the entire work program support from PTSG in 2022 had been running optimally.

“We truly appreciate all of the support from PTSG for the Pasucen Village development, and we hope that the cooperation will always be well established,” he concluded.
